Rules

CloudPVP is about fair, skill-based fights. These rules keep it that way for everyone, in game and on our Discord. By joining either, you agree to them.

These rules apply on the CloudPVP Discord server, in every channel, thread and voice channel. On top of them, the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply.

§1 General rules

1.1
Be friendly with each other. Treat everyone the way you want to be treated.
1.2
No racism, antisemitism or discrimination in any form, and no hate speech or extremist content.
1.3
Clean profiles. Usernames, nicknames, avatars, banners, bios and statuses must not contain pornographic, racist, extremist or otherwise offensive content.
1.4
No private data. Sharing private information about others (real names, addresses, photos, IP addresses) is forbidden.
1.5
No trolling or harassment. This includes direct messages to members you met here.
1.6
Do not impersonate others. Copying the name or avatar of a staff member or any other member is forbidden.
1.7
No cheats. Promoting, selling or asking for cheats, mod menus or account and currency trading is forbidden, also in your status, bio or name.
1.8
No advertising of other servers, communities or services, also not through unsolicited direct messages to members.

§2 Text channels

2.1
No insults in any channel.
2.2
No spam. No flooding, repeated messages, walls of text, excessive caps or emoji spam.
2.3
No obscene, illegal or adult content, and no gore.
2.4
Use each channel for its purpose, and keep public channels in English so everyone can follow.
2.5
Do not tag the staff or other members without need. For help, open a support request.
2.6
Do not post bugs or exploits publicly. Report them to the staff in a support request.

§3 Voice channels

3.1
Do not record others without their consent.
3.2
No trolling or harassment while talking or playing together.
3.3
No soundboards, voice changers or loud noises used to annoy others.

§4 Staff and support

4.1
Follow the instructions of the staff. Discuss a decision calmly in a support request, not in public channels.
4.2
Breaches lead to a warning, a timeout, a kick or a ban, depending on how serious they are and how often they happened. Serious breaches lead to an immediate ban.
4.3
Appeals against sanctions in the game or on Discord go through a support request.
